Here's Jacques after I changed his diaper, fed him, burped him,
and swaddled him for the first time without begging for help!
I'm still working on the swaddling... No matter how tight I
wrap his arms in there, he squirms out of it...
The Ride Home
Thanks to our neighbors Travis & Cindy, we have a picture
of Jacques arriving home from the hospital. I was still calming
down my anxiety from driving with our little boy in the car and
Ashley was focused on him in the car seat that we forgot to
take a picture of him coming home. Thank you Travis & Cindy!
He's nothing but a head and buckles in that car seat.....

A Typical Day

Aunt Kristin holding Jacques in the NICU. He was telling his cousin Annie hi because she couldn't visit him in the NICU. Note: Jacques is sleeping on his soon-to-be cousin who is due around New Years! And "Yes" it's a boy!
Mommy is HOME!!!
Ashley finally gets to come home after being in the hospital for more than a month. There was an eager puppy waiting on her return!!!
